Learning

One module I studied for my Masters in Education was world-view-changing, and shifted my perspective on all levels. This poem is inspired by my reflections on a sociocultural theory of learning.

Learning

Growing, budding, blooming.

Evolving, changing, moving.

Sideways, forwards, backwards.

Up, down, mixed.

Mind, brain, matter.

Neuron, spark, engaged.

Follow same path?

Choose another way?

Closed, open, curious.

Listen, hear, pause.

Think, mention, ask.

Talk, argue, flaws.

Virtual, person, book.

Over time change?

Image, word, voice.

Stay the same?

List, circle, note.

Copy, repeat, rote.

Coach, mentor, guide.

Me, you, side.

Judge, examine, critique.

Smart, clever, seek.

Fast, average, slow?

High, middle, low?

Participation.

Reification.

Living.
