Arenzano...

...where peacocks reign.

This weekend we decided it was time to see the sea so went to the Ligurian coast. One of the towns we visited is called Arenzano, a town on the seafront and on the side of a hill. It had lots of typical shops selling yummy Ligurian treats, like farinata and focaccia, as well as Easter yummies. While walking up from the town to the train station we spotted a female peacock in a garden, then we saw three more, after which a male peacock appeared and he showed off his train!

As we continued, we saw a large villa which we guess has a large garden where the peacocks come from.
